Tracey Mullins, DVM, MBA

Chief of Staff

Dr. Tracey Mullins, our Chief of Staff, grew up central Washington State, lived in various places throughout the world, and currently resides in Vienna, Virginia. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland - University Campus, achieved an MBA from Webster University, and earned a DVM degree from Kansas State University. Prior to joining the Merrifield Animal Hospital team, Dr. Mullins practiced in Kansas and in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Her special interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery (new techniques like skin stretching), canine sports medicine & rehabilitation (post-surgical physical therapy), and pain management.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Mullins enjoys running, gardening, and riding horses. She has been training with an English equitation focus and hopes to eventually jump in a hunter competition. Dr. Mullins is happily married to her husband, Bryan, for over 20 years, with a teenage daughter who also rides and jumps in hunter competitions. They also share their home with a geriatric Shetland Sheepdog and two cats.
