About the Role

Merrifield Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join our amazing team in Fairfax, VA. This position is for an Associate Veterinarian or a Chief of Staff (we offer leadership training). We have been providing high-quality and thorough veterinary care for dogs and cats since the 1950's and we are an AAHA accredited hospital. 

 

Our facility is equipped with digital general and dental x-rays, cold laser therapy, a separate dental suite, and a surgical suite. We have a recently renovated surgery suite and treatment area! We also offer holistic treatments such as acupuncture and herbal therapies.

  • Our doctor staff includes an AAFP certified & Cat Friendly Practitioner.
  • Our team promotes a collegial work culture.
  • Our caring support staff is dedicated to our patients, clients, and community while enjoying a fun-filled, creative environment.
  • We have 2 long-tenured LVTs and a 2:1 assistant-to-doctor ratio. 

Our Associate position:

  • We offer our doctors a 4-day work week, no on-call and we are closed on Sundays!
  • Experienced doctors or new graduates are encouraged to apply!
